Online A Wrap-up
Technology is important because it helps make everyday life easier and you can get more things done with the technology there is today. Technology has changed over the last 5 years in so many ways, like now there are things that we couldn't do before like now most computers are small enough and affordable for many people. before they used to be big heavy things. Also there's smartphones and tablets that can do almost anything a computer can and even more like send texts and make phone calls. Technology isnt even close to being done growing. I think that within the next five years, computers will be able to get wifi anywhere or have keyboards that are made of light projected onto a surface. Also phones would be able to do everything by thought, that would be sweet! I use search engines for school work to research projects and i used things like Microsoft word to type essays. I use thinks like social networking to communicate with friends and family, i play xbox online with my friends as well. I also use my cellular device to send text messages to my pals. i will definitely use the things i learned about netiquette later in life, I dont want to make a bad image for myself. I think using the RSS feed for like news and sports scores and highlights. i dont think I'll ever create a wiki account or podcasts at all anymore. My favorite tool to create was the iGoogle because i could make it the way i wanted to. My least favorite to create was the avatars on voki and blabberize.

Playstation 4
Sony's big event in New York was for the reveal of Playstation . They show game-play, tech tips and new features. There are new social features on the new system like you can share game play with friends being connected through existing social networks and monitoring what you play and what you purchase. i find that weird and i feel like it's invading your privacy. i don't necessarily like that but Dennis Fong, told CNN he thinks the social sharing feature built in to the PS4 is exactly what next-generation devices should be doing. Although, from what people saw they seemed to like the new gaming system of the Playstation 4.
Voki vs. Blabberize
In Voki you create an avatar that looks similar to you. You can make him talk by either typing words for it or by recording your voice. The avatar will move around and look at where ever your mouse. In Blabberize you take a picture of anything and you can make it talk by making its mouth move and recording your voice. I think Voki was easier to use because you didn't have to record your own voice. i liked Blabberize the best because you could make anything talk. i honestly would use either of them again because i don't like recording my own voice. i honestly do not know what these could be used for in any other class.

Real Life Stories
Teresa gave out her phone number, email, instant messenger and what time she gets home. Yes, i have put personal information out on the internet. I think the most important thing to remember while online is to never give out personal information and don't post photos of yourself. The second video i watched was called Your Photo Fate. It was about how a girl sent a guy a "hot" picture and the guy sent it to one of his friends and then his friend sent it to a lot of people. Then the photo got online because of some girls and a lot of people were able to see it.
Digital Footprint
On my tweet cloud i an proud that the word Velociraptor was in it. I'm also proud that there was no curse words or inappropriate words. There was honestly nothing i was embarrassed about. The tweet cloud was more than appropriate. The only thing i would want to change about it is i want to have more sophisticated words in it and if it showed more of how weird i am/

Cyberbullying
The movie Cyberbully is about how a group of girls were making fun of another girl at school and online. The bullying got so bad that the girl tried to kill herself. I honestly think that this stuff is what truly happens and it just terrible. There is no need for bullying. Most of the things that happened in that movie actually happen in real life. Some ways are people bully others online and in person. People create fake identities like on social networking sites. People do try to kill themselves and others actually succeed. One thing that probably doesn't happen in real life is some one stands up to the bully.

Netiquette
.
Netiquette is the way people should behave on the internet. It is basically like the the way people should be have in public but its over the internet. Netiquette affects EVERYONE who uses the internet or a social network. Good netiquette is to treat people how you want to be treated, making yourself look good online like use proper grammar and spelling. Bad netiquette is like starting flame wars. Flame wars are when someone says something online sharing their opinion holding back no emotion and people start arguing over the internet and look like idiots

Whats Legal?
You can’t just go on the internet and download most music,
but people still download music illegally and they can get in serious trouble. It’s
really confusing on which music you can download, but to make it even more
confusing there is some music you can download off of the internet. Copyright
laws allow you to may make a copy of your own CD for your personal use. You’re not
allowed to give this copy to another person. Some artists allow you to download
song of their songs for free off of their websites. if a person is able to
download his or her favorite music off the Internet, that person would not need
to purchase the CD at a local music store meaning the recording company wouldn’t
get any of the money from those illegally downloaded songs. So, if I were you, I
wouldn’t try to download music on the internet.

Copyright: The Beach Boys vs. Chuck Berry
Chuck Berry said that The Beach Boys used most of the words and the exact melody from his song Sweet Little Sixteen in their song Surfin' USA. Chuck Berry never gave The Beach Boys permission to use his song. A year after Surfin' USA was released, Chuck Berry sued the Beach Boys and won the case, causing all releases of Surfin' USA on albums to credit
Berry and Brian Wilson, who wrote the new lyrics

Research Project Wrap-up
On my presentation, I thought it went really well. i wasn't all nervous because I felt like i had done a good job on my presentation. It was clear and to the point. I didn't seem to babble on and on about something. my favorite part has got to be getting up in front and presenting to my friends. My least favorite part is doing all that research, but i need to know what i was talking about to be able to present well. i learned that Japan has the worlds largest tower, that's pretty cool. Some difficult things to find while i was researching was the last couple attractions. Some strong points in my presentation was the history and attractions. The weak point of my presentation was the current facts. i could have added more but i didn't want to have too much. I really liked this research project and i think Mrs. Fowler should do more projects where we get to learn more about the things we don't know a lot about.

Snapchat
Snapchat is a new app that lets friends send pictures and text together that disappear after a few seconds. People are saying its the next instagram, but it's also just a new way for "sexting". The creators of snapchat are downplaying its use for sexting and saying its a short term sharing. The app has also gained some popularity from its competition, Facebook poke. http://www.cnn.com/2013/01/03/tech/mobile/snapchat/index.html?hpt=te_t1
