Holiday Traditions!

            Around this time of year, people have many holiday traditions. I. myself, have a few holiday traditions. I love to have traditions because it gives me something to look forward to every year. Some of our traditions have lasted a really long time            

One of my holiday traditions is, of course, to put up the Christmas tree! I put up the Christmas tree with my mom, dad and sister. We put up ornaments, lights and ribbon. Another of my traditions is on Christmas Eve I go to my grandma’s house and we eat a nice dinner. After dinner we wait fit a little bit and then we open present! Also, on Christmas day we go to my aunt’s house and do the same thing there.  The one thing I look forward to the most would have to be waking up on Christmas day, going out to my living room and seeing all those presents from Santa! Well, those are some of my holiday traditions and what I look forward to during the holidays.

RSS

RSS stands for really simple syndication. A RSS is a whole group of web feed formats used to frequently updated works like blog entries and news to audio and video. You don’t have to use the actual website anymore. This is useful to teachers, news anchors and people who need to get information updates fast. It would be useful to me because I can get information and updates faster.

Social Bookmarking

Social Bookingmarking is when people use a website like Diigo or Delicious do save websites to a library. On a social bookmarking site, you can access your saved pages anywhere you have internet unlike saving to your browser where you can only reach your saved pages on one computer. You can organize your saved websites by using tags, which are usually one word descripters of the website. On a social bookmarking site, you can follow someone elses social bookmarking account and see all of their saved wedsites. I think socially bookmarking is useful because it is a way to not only save websites and search for them, but you can access your saved pages anywhere. I will use it for school because I can save pages at home and use them at school. I will use social bookmarking in my personal life by saving my favorite websites and I'll be able to access them anywhere.

Technology & Me

In my life, I use technology everyday. I always have my iPhone on me, it's always in my pocket. I also use technology in school. I use the computers in school and in my computers class! Im guess that I use technology when I play shows with my band, Ryan Started the Fire. I use technology there because there is  a lot of things to do on the computer, like to comtrol the lights on stage and to control the volume on everyone. I basically use technology everyday!
